The Hotel Association of Canada announces the 2018 Board of Directors

The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC), the national association representing 8,226 hotels, motels, and resorts which encompass the $19.2 billion Canadian lodging industry, announced its 2018 Board of Directors, effective as of the Association’s Annual General Meeting held in Toronto on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

Vito Curalli, CHA, MBA, Executive Director Canada, Latin America & International Sales for Hilton Worldwide will be continuing his two-year term as Chair.

“The hotel industry — and the world in which it operates — is evolving,” said Susie Grynol, President of the Hotel Association of Canada. “I look forward to working alongside the Board of Directors to deliver a targeted advocacy strategy and continuing to be the leading voice of the Canadian hotel and lodging industry.”

Newly appointed to the HAC Board of Directors for 2018 is Sara Glenn, Senior Vice President of Operations, Canada, Bermuda and the Caribbean for AccorHotels. As the association implements its new strategic plan, Sara will bring immense value to the association drawn from her extensive knowledge of the industry. Sara will bring over 25 years of senior hospitality experience uniquely based in both the ownership and operating sides of the industry. “We are thrilled to have a great female executive in Sara Glenn,” said Susie Grynol.
