Kafia Yusuf promoted to Manager, Policy & Stakeholder Relations
The Hotel Association of Canada is pleased to announce that Kafia Yusuf, currently Communications and Policy Analyst, has been promoted to Manager, Policy & Stakeholder Relations. Kafia is an accomplished public policy professional, with over 10 years of experience in federal and provincial policy analysis.
Since joining HAC in 2019, Kafia has made significant contributions to key policy files such as wins on fair rules for short-term rentals, securing critical COVID-19 relief programs and managing key stakeholder audiences to deliver impactful advocacy on the Hill.
In her new role, Kafia will manage critical files for the Association on workforce issues, tourism sector investment and short-term rentals and will manage HAC’s advocacy events to ensure the hotel sector stays top of mind for decision makers in Ottawa.
