Hotel Association of Canada’s Environmental Program Green Key Eco-Rating Program Achieves GSTC-Recognition
The Hotel Association of Canada is pleased to announce that its environmental certification program for hotels, the Green Key Eco-Rating Program, has just attained “Recognition Status” from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). This achievement demonstrates adherence to international standards and opens another exciting chapter in the Green Key Program’s 20-year history of educating, supporting and certifying hotels on their path to sustainability. The Hotel Association of Canada delivers the Green Key Eco-Rating Program, and its sister program Green Key Meetings, under the Green Key Global label.
