Meet the Candidates
The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of HAC, serving the best long-term interests of the organization. To fulfill this role, the Board is expected to bring forward-looking and strategic perspectives to HAC’s operations and policy.
The HAC Board is comprised of 23 Directors: 21 Directors elected by the Voting Membership and 2 Appointed Directors, representing external expertise, who are selected by the incoming Board.
Available Positions
There are eight (8) elected positions to be filled on the Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) Board of Directors in 2025.
Unless otherwise indicated, each position is for a period of three (3) years.

MANAGEMENT Companies
Positions Available: 1
Length of Term: 3 years
Criteria: Representative of a member Management Company
OWNERSHIP Companies
Positions Available: 4
Length of Term: 3 seats = 3 years | 1 seat = 2 years*
Criteria: Representative of a member Owner Group
*Staggered terms support HAC’s practice of an annual Board turnover of approximately one-third of seats.
BRANDS
